We are in the 25th year of the functioning of the BWC, for the past 25 years, our goal has been to recognize, appreciate and enhance the entrepreneul and business skills of the women of Gujarat. We have made appreciable progress in this field and it fills me with great pride to lead this enthusiastic committee in this landmark year. This year we have taken a few small measures to further raise the standards of our achievements. A small step is launching Our own website, which I believe will help business women take huge steps forward. I request all the talented women of Gujarat to participate in this venture for it to succeed. The success of this venture would in turn mean success for all of us. | The Business Women Committee was inaugurated on the 20th July 1985 by Smt. Sobha Nehru, wife of Shri B.K. Nehru, the then Governor of Gujarat. Since inception, the Committee has organized various seminars, workshops and programmes focusing on various areas of development for women and their empowerment in the current era of cut-throat competition |
